Orange County Citizen Corps is a program under the Department of Emergency
Management that utilizes county, state, and national resources in carrying out its mission:
“Ensure that Florida's
communities are safer, stronger, and better prepared to respond to threats of terrorism, crime, public health issues and disasters
of all kinds by collaborating the efforts of individuals in crime prevention, emergency preparedness/response and public safety
through education, training and volunteer services.”
The Orange County Citizen Corps Council
meets the fourth Monday of each month, 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the County Administration Building
Orange County is looking for volunteers
